"Despite completing my Master's Degree in Voice at the Conservatory with honors, I realized I still didn't have what I needed for a career on an opera stage. Having Maestra Barazia as teacher literally changed my life for the better. Her approach is extremely scientific and well informed, she knows exactly how a singer should sound just by listening to their voice and seeing how their face and body are built. She knows exactly where to intervene, what to study, what muscles and how to train them. She gave me the chance to shine and even without realizing, my voice and my breath support began their development and flourished. It's a unique style of teaching, it's science combined with pure art. She lets you understand what a character is thinking and what the composer meant. She really gives her pupils the means to shine. She moreover introduced me to world-known musicians and directors, she believes in her pupils from the first moment and always does and knows what's best for them. With her help I won the free auditions linked to the Spoleto Competition and won the first prize in an international competition by the Pavarotti Foundation and was recognized and "discovered" by award-winning musicians from some of the most important opera-theaters in Italy. The widow of Pavarotti asked me with whom I studied because she was so appalled by my performance and gave me the prize herself and even invited me to sing at Pavarotti's house and attend a masterclass with world renowned tenor Marcelo Álvarez. I wouldn't have gotten such acknowledgement without Barazia's guidance and support. I am and will always be thankful for what she gave me, for what possibilities she opened to me. Besides, she is a very good and big-hearted person. She really gives all herself for her pupils, what she does isn't rare, it's unique."

"I have been a student with Emanuela for three years. When I first went for lesson I sung quite nasally, and would be scared of any note above C3, straining and avoiding. Emanuela over time has helped me to understand my voice, the vocal muscles and position.
From the lessons I've received I gained confidence and my voice developed very quickly as we studied all different arias, and vocal types such as baritone and countertenor, and even a little bit of sopranism.
I liked to surprise Emanuela by wanting to study new and challenging songs and characters, and she always taught me how to sing these things safely and effectively whilst maintaining the "colour" of my voice. My voice has improved drastically since studying with Emanuela, my range has grown and so has my confidence and agility.I have loved working with her for those years, a great teacher and an amazing friend, 100% supportive of her students and extremely honest. I look forward to meeting up every time I come home."

"I have known Emanuela for just over 2 years. During this time I received singing lessons on a weekly basis. The areas covered were: breathing techniques, vocal projection, vocal technique and pronunciation. Emanuela broke the skills down, ensuring that I understood what was expected of me to achieve results.
Emanuela used constructive criticism, praise, encouragement, and lots of enthusiasm.
She has loads of energy and her passion for what she does is evident. Emanuela teaching skills are second to none, and my only regret is that I had not met her to before 2 years ago as I'm now going away to University to study 'Vocal Studies' and therefore unable to continue my lessons with her. I feel that I have learned so much more from Emanuela over the last 2 years, much more than with previous singing teachers. As I prepare to go away to Uni, I feel confident that Emanuela has taught me the skills and foundation required as I start this new exiting chapter in my life".

"Thank you very much for the support and the help you gave me for the examination; if it was not for you, I do not know if I could have done it. Someone can be able to sing, but if he doesn't have a good teacher by his side his own ability is not enough, and maybe he just doesn't go anywhere. Thanks for helping me so much with the lessons, and for your valuable advices that I always tried to put into practice. I love your way of teaching and your way of dealing with students. I am really lucky to be in your hands and I feel so well, that I hope one day I'll be able to repay you, being so much what you have done for me"
